SoFi’s card business aims to offer competitive and differentiated credit cards to existing members and to consumers in the open market. In this role, you will lead the New to Credit, credit card segment for SoFi.
In the role, you will define the credit card segment strategy and approach to our New to Credit and Thin Credit Files members. You will work with marketing, credit risk and data science partners to define a targeting strategy that optimizes for customer value, risk and returns.
In your role, you will be accountable for the New to Credit growth trajectory and segment profitability.
What you’ll do:

Define and own the value proposition for New to Credit members, in collaboration with our marketing and product teams

Own P&L for the New to Credit credit card segment

Work closely with marketing and credit risk partners to develop & refine a targeting strategy (framework, models) that best serves members and that results in profitable and resilient new account originations

Analyze and monitor segment performance at the portfolio level and by vintage to drive insights and optimization

Build a Test & Learn agenda, in collaboration with cross-functional partners, to optimize product and pricing for your segment. Develop analytical insights from historical testing

Develop cardholder growth and retention strategies for the New to Credit segment, in collaboration with cross-functional partners

Develop and provide regular reporting and business updates on segment performance
What you’ll need:

7-10 years experience preferred

Well developed analytical skills
-
Strong communication skills
-
Credit Card segment management experience
-
Sound understanding of credit card economics and credit risk dynamics

Prior experience running complex credit card analyses

Quantitative undergraduate degree

Proficiency in SQL/Python
