The PC APIs team within Personal Lines Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Developer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated test frameworks and test scripts.
Oversee test planning, test plan creation, maintenance, and execution.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
Ensure the team follows best practices for code reviews and version control.
Mentor and guide team members in test automation and quality assurance best practices.
Drive test automation strategy and continuously improve test processes, frameworks, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Experience:
Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Ruby (preferred) or other languages such as Python and JavaScript.
Version Control: Strong understanding of GitHub, including branching and pull request strategies.
Continuous Integration: Experience with CI tools, preferably GitHub Actions, Concourse, and a basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
Test Automation: Extensive experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
