Direct Support Professional, Weekend Hours

Pay: $15.00

Casual hours: Saturdays and or Sundays. Great job for someone looking for a second job, retirees, students. or people not wanting a full-time commitment. Flexible shift times.

What You Will Do:

• Build relationships with the clients
• Plan outings that you will be present at for support
• Provide support to the clients with hobbies, studies, and social activities
• Read, write, and execute directions
• Charting and take notes
• Data entry, instant messaging, uploading documents
• Provide companionship and supportive listening
• Report changes in health and/or status of the client
• Respond to emergency situations
• Administer medication
• Transport clients to appointments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with people with disabilities and/or mental health is preferable
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proof of Automobile Insurance
• Valid telephone number
• Internet, Email access, smartphone access
• Microsoft Teams access (Teams will need to be downloaded onto your phone or computer)
• High level of both written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to pass a motor vehicle record check and criminal background check
