FP&A Manager

TL;DR Kharon is seeking an FP&A Manager to join our team. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models and tools, driving key business initiatives and informing strategic decision-making.
Spearhead the creation and evolution of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc operating reports and dashboards, presenting insights directly to senior management.
Forecast sales trends and conduct in-depth revenue analytics, providing critical insights on customer segmentation, retention, churn, and acquisition costs to shape business strategy
Design and implement comprehensive operational cost analyses, with a particular focus on optimizing headcount planning and reporting across the organization
Evaluate existing financial reporting structures and proactively redesign them to better align with management's evolving needs, highlighting key performance indicators
Take ownership of the preparation and accuracy of all financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Independently monitor and analyze financial results, identify significant variances, and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and drive customer growth
Craft materials for investor updates and board meetings, translating complex financial data into actionable insights
Orchestrate the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market conditions
Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and develop accurate financial projections for incorporation into the annual budgetTake the lead in evaluating, selecting, and implementing FP&A systems, processes, and technologies to continuously improve financial operations and decision-making capabilities
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in FP&A, investment banking/PE, or management consulting.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with expertise in financial statement and expense analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel and other financial planning software) and experience working with ERP systems, like Netsuite.
Strong, hands-on knowledge and understanding of financial reporting and GAAP.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
Excellent analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple matters, with a willingness and curiosity to ask questions and learn areas outside of expertise.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and attention to accuracy, with unrivaled ethics, integrity, and ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
