Under minimal supervision, ability to perform PM’s troubleshoots, repair and rebuild equipment without direct supervision. (Individual will also be expected to control inventory and enter in work being done on equipment with computerized maintenance program.)
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Inventory and control stock of supplies.
Perform PM’s as required; lubricants, dismantling, cleaning of parts.
General fabrication skills; welding (ARC, MIG & TIG), torch, cutting equipment, able to follow simple blueprints, and grinders.
Apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities.
Ability to read blueprints.
Apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities in basic electrical blueprints and meters.
Apply general plumbing skills.
Assist in machine installation/assemble.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent GED required. Vocation Technical training in related field.
Lathe and mill experience helpful.
Ability to read, write and understand work instructions (English).
Familiar with operating power tools. Ability to take supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member.
Must be able to safely perform essential job responsibilities. Must be flexible in work hours.
