Schedule: 40 hours per week | 7:30AM - 6:00 PM | Monday - Friday

The Operating Room (OR) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (OR) Attendant with duties combines the responsibility of a nursing assistant in a surgical setting. This role involves patient care, preparation of the operating room to ensure that all designated surgical areas are cleaned, organized, and equipped according to established protocols. Safely transports patients of all ages, infants through adults, and assist with patient preparations and positioning. Runs needed errands between interdisciplinary departments all under the supervision of the nurses and surgeons.

Requirements

• Current (CNA) Certified nursing Assistant. Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably with operating room experience, is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross -Required upon hire.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
