Job Description:

   

The Global Workplace organization of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (HPE) provides all corporate real estate functions at HPE delivers a workplace experience at each HPE site that will attract, retain, enable and inspire HPE’s employees. We provide world-class workplace outcomes across our global portfolio of more than 11 million square feet and 220 sites, with a laser focus on elevating the employee experience and delivering improved productivity across HPE in support of more than 63,000 employees.

Real Estate Operations is part of Workplace Services, a worldwide team of approximately 70 professionals who advance the way HPE employees live and work, supporting and protecting our people and physical assets with personalized on-site solutions and services.  Workplace Services is responsible for all aspects of facilities management, including site operations and integrated facilities management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Global Energy and Strategic Supplier Management, and our key stakeholders include HPE Country Managing Directors, HPE site leaders and HPE site employees.  Our team works in close collaboration with all functions across HPE and within the Global Workplace organization to achieve our collective experience vision: Strategy & Transformation, Workplace Design & Project Management, and Employee Workplace Experience.


As part of the Global Workplace organization, the Real Estate Workplace Manager is accountable for daily site operations for complex portfolio of properties for HPE. Corporate Real Estate is a specialized field requiring knowledge of site maintenance protocols, mechanical equipment, environmental. health and safety policies and programs (e.g., renewable energy and other sustainability programs and initiatives as well as on-site safety policies and protocols), construction project management and supplier management. Equally important, an HPE Workplace Manager must possess strong customer relationship skills to be effective in providing a positive workplace experience and supporting our businesses. The successful candidate must provide input on location strategy to support a multitude of business strategies and have advanced skills in managing programs as well as highly effective communications capabilities. This position will be responsible for all of HPE’s Texas sites.

  • Manages and oversees the delivery and operation of complex facilities and multi-building campus infrastructure supporting product development and testing operations.
  • Liaises with business and function management to understand business strategy and changing operational needs, identifies solutions, develops and implements new/revised programs (energy, workplace transformation, crisis management, etc.), and develops the Global Workplace/business relationship at a region and local level.
  • Manages outsourced suppliers that handle multiple sites of varying complexity.  Maintains knowledge of third-party agreements and drives compliance to statements of work while working to improve service delivery and issue resolution. 
  • Partners with IT and technical resources to deliver efficient and effective product development and testing that are part of HPE’s global lab network which support overall business strategies.
  • Facilitates the integration of Global Workplace services (Real Estate, Planning, Disposition, Project Management) and other company horizontal functions (IT, EH&S, Security, Risk Management and Legal, Global Supply Chain, HR, Finance) at the global or local level solving diverse and complex issues so that at the user level gaps and overlaps are minimized.
  • Leads the effective implementation of key real estate and operational global strategies and programs at the local level.
  • Responsible for developing operational strategies or managing the operations at company facilities to achieve infrastructure reliability and efficient building operations for a wide range of environments
