Arthrex Manufacturing is actively searching for a Sr. Inventory Control Clerk to produce quality medical instruments in accordance with Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. procedures in a safe and effective manner in order to exceed the customers' needs. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and fine motor skills. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Main Objective:

Ensures that throughput, workflow and production plan goals are accomplished by prepackaging Work Orders accurately and in a timely manner. Assists in training, resolve pending and execute additional material requests.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Functions as backup for area coordinator and assists in accomplishing production goals as needed.

· Assists in training and acts as liaison in fulfilling all material requests from Clean Room packaging lines through replenishment and other methods.

· Operates and performs minor troubleshooting of prepackaging related equipment such as automated labeling machines, printers, counting scales, label counters, and reminders.

· Performs and ensures Kanban/Replenishment is accomplished by accurately completing daily inventory transactions. Verifies accuracy of Kanban/Replenishment inventory.

· Completes fulfillment of additional material/label requests from in-process work orders in an expedient manner ensuring ERP System is properly updated and the work order documentation is correct and complete.

· Reviews all work orders in Pending location daily. Report reasons for pending to area coordinator or supervisor.

· Prepares, issues and kits materials based upon the Work Order Bill of Material(BOM) and/or Transfer Orders according to Work Instructions and departmental guidelines, ensuring continuous work flow and adherence to the Production schedule and expedite list.

· Assigns material retrieval/return instructions to Inventory Control Specialists assisting with Work Order preparation.

· Counts and issues materials and overages according to released work instructions.

· Prints and applies Tags using printers for Work In Process(WIP) material prior to production use.

· Verifies tags on all kitted materials and ensures tag information matches work order BOM.

· Verifies that the issued materials match the Bill of Material(BOM) required to manufacture the product.

· Material picking using a material handling equipment i.e. Forklift and related equipment.

· Generates lot specific product packaging labels using printers according to the router and BOM ensuring labels are accurate and complete.

· Ensures the DHR (Device History Record) is complete and accurate, including all approvals, prior to forwarding the Work Order kit for further processing.

· Promptly notifies area Coordinators and/or Supervisor of any physical inventory discrepancies, ERP and/or manufacturing systems errors or omissions, mislabeled components, missing components or other inventory anomalies.

· Moves materials as required with proper material handling equipment after certification i.e. Forklift and related equipment.

· Performs needed stock adjustments, blocking and unblocking, QC Hold and/or NCR or validation material movement of inventory in the ERP systems.

· Performs Inventory counts as needed and trace transactions in ERP systems and reports if inventory is incorrect.

· Prints warehouse material tags using printers ensuring information is accurate and complete.

· Insures work station is organized and compliant with Area Clearance and Line separation procedures.

 

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· 6 months of prior related experience or demonstrated skill sets is desired.

· Previous experience or exposure to medical device or other regulated manufacturing processes is desired.
