Medical Assistant: Patient Engagement Specialist- REMOTE POSITION

Job Description:

Aluna’s award-winning portable spirometry platform tracks daily lung health, while equipping providers with real-time, accurate data. Patients can now take control of their lung health, while providers have the opportunity to deliver higher-quality care, propelled by accurate remote monitoring. We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team to help engage, educate and grow our patient base. 
This is a full time position, with benefits. Will require 40 hours per week, M-F. No weekends or holidays.

You will be responsible for:

• Reviewing spirometry data and provider notes
• Handling patient calls on a daily basis
• Educating patients on clinical benefits of doing spirometry consistently 
• Coaching patients to train and ensure adequate spirometry technique using Aluna 

Who you are:

• Licensed Medical Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with spirometry in a clinic
• Experience in calling and educating patients
• Proven ability to meet and exceed goals and deadlines
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed 
• Collaborate with colleagues and be solution oriented
• Organized and comfortable with using Excel and Google Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Must have exceptional multi-tasking skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm during difficult conversations
