We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Lead in one of our locations in Verl, Baden-Baden, Berlin, Germany to guide our Microsoft Dynamics team. In this role, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder management to shape and evolve our Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem — including standard modules and customized solutions.

You will drive the team’s technical excellence, ensure system stability, and advance innovation through the integration of Power Platform and AI capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and empower the Microsoft Dynamics engineering team (8 members).
  • Ensure high delivery quality, transparency, and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Manage priorities, resources, and development roadmaps for Dynamics and Power Platform solutions.
• Technical Ownership
  • Oversee and continuously improve the Dynamics 365 Sales & Marketing modules.
  • Drive the technical evolution of our contract database, supplier onboarding process, and app inventory built on Dynamics and Power Platform.
  • Guarantee the stability, performance, and scalability of the Dynamics system and related integrations.
  • Manage system configuration, data model governance, and integration with other business platforms.
• Innovation & AI Enablement
  • Lead the integration of AI and Copilot capabilities within Dynamics and Power Platform.
  • Promote AI readiness through knowledge transfer, experimentation, and process automation.
  • Maintain close collaboration with Microsoft to adopt new product features early.
• Stakeholder & Project Management
  • Serve as the main interface for Sales, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into robust, scalable CRM and Power Platform solutions.
  • Ensure transparency on progress, risks, and prioritization decisions through clear communication and reporting.
• Process & Quality
  • Establish and enforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement efficient change and release management processes.
  • Foster continuous improvement, innovation, and documentation standards across the CRM landscape.

 

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Proven expertise in the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of system architecture, API integrations, and Azure-based deployment.
• Experience integrating AI or Copilot features into Dynamics or Power Platform environments.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record in leading software engineering teams or large CRM projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across business and IT.
• Agile mindset and experience with DevOps and CI/CD principles.
• Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365 / Power Platform) are a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to travel within Germany and internationally.
• Self-motivated and high drive to work in dynamic international setting.
