Salary Grade: T25

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

Position Summary:

The Program Manager facilitates the implementation of the CeaseFire model and the management of the 24hr Crisis Intervention team, by playing a key role in the operations of these programs that includes supervision of staff and case management support of victims of crime and serving as a liaison for all victim services activity and implementation of the evidence based Cure Violence violence intervention model. community mobilization, public education, faith leader involvement and relationship with local law enforcement representatives- and the adoption of CeaseFire best practices.

Job Details:

* This is a grant funded position

* This position requires the following background checks: criminal history review, child abuse clearance and FBI fingerprinting

Required Education and Experience:

* A Bachelor’s degree human services field like sociology or social work and at least three years’ experience with community related experience and planning specifically in Community Outreach programs for hospitals and/or Higher Education.

* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.                                                   

Required Skills and Abilities:

* Demonstrated management experience (e.g., monitoring budgets, programmatic progress to goals, etc.)

* Demonstrated experience in government relations and community affairs

* Demonstrated commitment to serving the Chester community.

* Demonstrated ability in relationship building and working with individuals in an outreach setting.

* Strong communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to be detail-oriented and to handle multiple tasks.

* Demonstrated computer skills, along with the ability to operate standard office equipment and software including MS Office. 

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse population of students, faculty and staff.
