Job Overview
As a Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing implementing and executing component plant goals, policies and procedures. The key metrics are safety, quality, productivity, and development of supervisors, leads and work cell facilitators.
Highlights of your role
- Provide direction and leadership for supervisors and employees within Wood Processing to meet business objectives
- Work with all supporting functional areas coordinating and supporting cross-functional teams and activities
- Coach and develop supervisors, leads, work cell facilitators and employees, in alignment with Marvin’s Values.
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain processes, products and services of high standards established by company quality objectives
- Efficiently use resources to execute the production schedule; continuously look for ways to optimize resources
Compensation
$67,000 - $89,000 annuallyYou're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching and mentoring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive work attitude and able to hold others accountable for their actions, behaviors and attitudes
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing management/supervisor/lead experience
- Machine shop/Machinist/CNC experience required
