What You Will Do:

  • Be the key focal to MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) customer accounts for third level escalations.

  • Drive to continually identify and execute opportunities for market expansion in the used material business segment capitalizing on industry network & knowledge base.

  • Utilize expert knowledge of P&WC aftermarket parts business and configuration management to provide technical oversight, and general support to the organization.

  • Actively reference technical manuals and publications as subject matter expert to solve day-to-day business demands with alternative solutions.  

  • Locate, negotiate, and procure of shortage/challenge parts on the market.

  • Understand long range engine shop forecasts, breaking down engine event into part numbers determining what is required, and identifying repairable inventory to be utilized.

  • Serve as a catalyst function to laisse with MRO shops as well as inventory & planning team to actively adjust inventories recipe and repair management work in process to keep alignment with overall parts demands.

  • Owner of excess and obsolete initiatives working with Inventory & Planning team to drive an overall lean inventory approach.

  • Compile data for detail analysis of the used part business segment to create and communicate accurate forecasts for used part sales and engine clearance dates. Creates part sale demands.

  • Collaborate with Business Segment Manager and P&WC MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) customer accounts to execute aligned metrics for engine clearance.

  • Construct contract pricing and support contract manager on new and existing agreements.

  • Create and present business cases to senior leadership both internally and externally.

  • Independent sound business decision making targeting achieving committed financial business results.

  • How to solve material shortage issues and supply chain delays to best support all customer activities ensuring on time delivery and service level performance indicators are achieved.

  • How to develop strategic sales plans to position product offerings to maximize inventory turns and revenue.

Qualifications You Must Have: ​

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum 5 years’ experience.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. ​

This role is:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
