Job Summary

• Instruct students in both theoretical and practical aspects of sterile processing, including decontamination, sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure that the curriculum meets all industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, exams, and hands-on practice.
• Provide mentorship and support to students, fostering a positive and effective learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and academic performance.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff to ensure program quality and student success.
• Must maintain an active advisory committee and communicate with business and industry on a regular basis.

Job Duties

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Certification in Central Sterile Processing (CRCST or CSPDT) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Central Sterile Processing or a related field.
• Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
• Commitment to student success and academic excellence
