Ultrasound Control Software Intern - Bothell, WA (Summer 2025; 3-4 months)

Summary:

 

The primary responsibility is to first understand the current software design to control the imaging hardware to acquire and render the ultrasound images. Work in a team environment to refactor areas of the software, which includes coming up with a design and generating and running test cases.

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Understand the current ultrasound control software design
• Design, implement, and test software for assigned areas
• Integrate and test software with hardware
• Participate in design and code review
• Support investigation of defects and address defects where appropriate

Knowledge and Experience:

• Currently pursuing an accredited Engineering Degree – BSCS/BSEE or related degree with an expected graduation date of December 2025 – June 2026
• Strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Has taken Operating system, C++, and object-oriented design classes.
• Experience working with CM tools (e.g. GIT)
• Experience working with Visual Studio

• Self-driven, organized and good with time management
• Ability to thrive in a diverse, cross-functional environment
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodations

Hourly internship rate: $20.00
