Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a senior financial Analyst at LiveLike. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role serves as a vital contributor to the business, frequently engaging with company leaders, clients, and vendors. The senior financial Analyst will be responsible for FP&A, financial accounting and reporting, investor relations, sales support, and business operations.

Primary responsibilities:

Manage all US and Canada-based bookkeeping and month-end close procedures, including journal entry creation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Coordinate with the India-based financial and operational team for timely recording and consolidation.

Oversee client contracts and prepare invoices.

Manage financial operations for North America, including accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and payroll.

Collaborate closely with the CFO on cash flow management.

Prepare regular reports, including financial statements, and respond to monthly, quarterly, and annual investor information requests.

Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting to support management decisions, including cash flow projections.

Work with external accountants and consultants for tax filing preparation and financial reviews.

Partner with the People Ops department to manage payroll, benefits, reimbursements, employee engagement, and other ad hoc projects.

Lead and prepare materials for investor relations purposes.

Develop a solid understanding of key business drivers and associated operations to analyze trends.

Report, monitor, and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators organization-wide; conduct in-depth research and variance analysis to ensure data accuracy.

Support transaction-related efforts, including presentations, proposals, due diligence, and data room management.


Ancillary Responsibilities:

Lead ad-hoc projects to enhance corporate processes and improve decision-making.

Support internal operations, including organizing office gatherings and events.

Collaborate on managing client contracts and invoices to ensure streamlined processes.

Analyze client engagement data to create user stories and provide actionable insights.

Assist in responding to RFPs, completing security questionnaires, and client contracting.

Must Have 2–5 Years of Financial Experience, Including

Financial reporting

Financial modeling and forecasting

Operating expense analysis

Corporate budgeting

Proficiency with advanced ERP systems and financial operations software

Advanced skills in spreadsheet management

Nice-to-Have On-the-Job Experience:

Experience with NetSuite

Expertise in implementing AI into business operations

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadline-sensitive tasks with ad-hoc requests

Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships across cross-functional teams

Passion for learning and continuous improvement, with a drive to evaluate and implement best practices

Demonstrated sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information

Interest in sports and/or emerging technologies


Degree requirements/Experience:

Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as banking, audit, or private company accounting


Nice-to-have, preferred experience:

CPA with strong technical accounting skills

Experience with start-up tech companies

SaaS accounting

Capital raising and M&A
