Intern in the STEM-Field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) (d/f/m)

Your tasks and responsibilities
Your role involves the development and evaluation of aircraft flotation models. This includes calculating volume and center of gravity, and assembling complex systems by connecting main parts to simulate mass and water transfer. Key responsibilities will be:
Understanding the existing Python-based flotation code.
Developing routines to generate flotation models from basic CAD data (IGES/STEP).
Conducting comprehensive tests to ensure tool reliability and redundancy.
Enhancing the existing GUI for improved user-friendliness in pre- and post-processing.
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the STEM-Field.
You bring genuine interest in Airbus and our products.
You are able to manage your work single-handed and mainly independently.
You are keen to understand physical aspects and to develop yourself.
You are a highly motivated and open-minded person.
You have some basic knowledge of CAD modeling.
Programming skills preferably in C++, Python or mixed language and usage of third party libraries.
Fluent in English, some German would be beneficial.
