About the role

The field reimbursement support team will help to eliminate barriers for patients to improve access to medically necessary treatments. The FRM will help resolve patient access issues, educate healthcare provider’s and their offices on appropriate reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting the Client’s product, and provide services to alleviate reimbursement and access issues impacting the ability of patients to access client’s products.

  

Field Reimbursement Manager Duties:

  • Analyze access and reimbursement issues and opportunities​
  • Coordinate on coverage, access, and reimbursement issues with third parties, including healthcare practitioners and HUBs​
  • Ensure processes are in place to drive clear communication with other field-facing teams to ensure clarity of reimbursement and access issues​
  • Listen and respond appropriately to internal and provider needs and questions related to access, coverage, and reimbursement​
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of product and competitors​
  • Regularly and timely communication with Market Access and Field Sales Force managers​
  • Create and maintain a positive relationship with provider personnel​
  • Participate in national and regional meetings and training sessions​
  • Ensure behaviors are consistent with Healthcare Compliance guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field required ​
  • Previous experience (3+ years) as a pharmacy benefit-focused FRM, provider’s office support staff, or a HUB support center manager on a specialty product​ required
  • Payer policy knowledge including public and private payers, expert knowledge of benefit verifications and prior authorization/pre-determination requirements and knowledge of reimbursement processes within various sites of care​ required
  • Ability to secure credentialing to access relevant customers and accounts in territory​ required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multiple stakeholders and associated teams for synergistic results​, while handling multiple priorities within a changing environment
  • Communication skills to deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and relay status reports on a regular basis​
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills​ (live, virtual and phone)
  • Coding certification preferred
  • Account management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated level of proficiency with support technology (PC and CRM tools, Microsoft Teams)​
  • Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated
  • Valid driver’s license required​
  • Travel up to 75% of the time required
