We are looking for a skilled Technical Solution Architect Lead to join the LCH SA Infrastructure & Cloud Team that provides technical resources to Post Trade Business Services (a division of LSEG). This role is vital in designing, a resilient, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Collaboration with development teams, operations, and partners will be crucial in ensuring efficient performance and availability of our critical environments.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Design and implement cloud solutions for LCH SA, to contribute to organizing and ensuring the smooth functioning of cloud systems with minimal downtime.
- Document architecture choices and ensure their validation in group governance.
- Work with IT teams to monitor privacy and address technical issues.
What you'll be doing:
part of the tasks & work packages identified:
- Take inputs and strong architectural choices with existing Senior Architects, drafts documentation (high-level and low-level design diagrams, technical specifications and technical architecture document) and iterates on documents.
- Handle core infrastructure topics (Virtualization, Network, Database, Monitoring).
- Ensure coordination with different technical teams (notably security and DevOps teams) to ensure operational viability, resiliency and security of the solution and achieve common validation of the deliverables.
- Work on multi cloud strategy, in coordination with the infrastructure leadership teams, LSEG group architects and cloud provider partners.
You'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent in professional English (oral, written).
- Significant certifications like Solution Architect Associate/pro on AWS, as well as VMware stack, containerization solutions, development framework.
- Project management capabilities.
- Fast starter & learner. Autonomy. Pro-active and curious.
- Excellent method and organization skills, excellent planning & synthesizing skills.
- Accuracy and precision – Attention to details and rigorous.
- Organized approach and able to work under pressure.
- Experience on operating in a regulated environment with specific security constraints (at least 2 years).
- Experiences working on projects (Business and Market Finance) and international environment.
- Experience in writing programme related documentation in English.
- Experience with synthesizing complex information.
- Experiences on mission / projects related to: Cloud strategy, cloud migration, Operating model implementation and definition, Business case, Cybersecurity, Monitoring & alerting.
- Knowledge (significant certifications like Solution Architect Associate/pro) on AWS, as well as VMware stack, containerization solutions, development framework.
- Adheres to applicable risk control frameworks, policies and procedures.
