Manager, Field Commerce

What we’re looking for…

• ScienceLogic is seeking a Senior Manager / Manager to drive business results in the fast growing AIOps market.
• Field Commerce is a highly-valued, skilled, results-driven, and hard charging team focused on our largest customers.
• Field Commerce resides under the Chief Revenue Officer and, is pivotal in combining business strategies with complex commercial and technical constructs to generate long-term value for our largest customers, as well as, ScienceLogic.
• The team is seeking top talent here to further drive our world-class go-to-market engine and collaborate with the sales organization in strategic planning, pricing and licensing, deal structuring, data analysis, and business value selling.

 

What you’ll be doing…

Field Commerce & Pursuits

• Ensure an increase in value for delivery of complex solutions, by ensuring that clients are fully engaged and aware of the business case including impact of ScienceLogic on their business.
• Support pipeline creation for strategic pursuits, ensuring current and future ScienceLogic revenue targets are exceeded.
• Help propagate best practices and point-of-view documents.
• Work with the broader Field Commerce team and ScienceLogic at-large to identify potential opportunities to improve / optimize along the entire customer buying journey.

Pricing, Licensing, & Deal Structuring

• Work with the Deal Desk, a key area within the broader Field Commerce team that is focused on optimizing deal constructs and financials.
• Act as a key driver for pricing, license arrangements/models, and deal structuring matters.
• Ensure development of leading practices in financial constructs to establish efficiencies and aid in the development & delivery of communications to the organization on process.
• Team with Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, and the broader Sales organization to ensure adoption.

 

Qualities you possess…

• Skilled at crafting and presenting strategic opportunities & partnerships to executive level audiences.
• Expertise in building data-driven models – examples include, but are not limited to market / TAM analysis, DCFs, and business plans.
• Ambitious, self-starter who will proactively find new and better ways of tackling tough problems.
• Work in investment banking, consulting, corporate strategy, or in a strategic go-to-market function (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience.
• Growth mindset and commitment to their own professional development.
• Collaborative and team-first focused.
• Maintains or can develop deep customer insight & perspectives.
• Aid in the coaching and constructive feedback process.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
