FBI Targeting and Data Exploitation Unit Instructor

Core One is seeking a Targeting and Data Exploitation Unit Instructor with specialized experience to provide training services to the Directorate of Intelligence. Training occurs in a variety of places to include Fredericksburg, VA, designated field offices, other government agency space, as well as virtually. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize a variety of in-person and distance instructional techniques, including platform, large and small group facilitation, role play, and one-on-one methods to delivery TDEX courses to a variety of FBI, Intelligence Community, and Law Enforcement audiences.
• Participate in the analysis, design, and development of new TDEX courses.
• Identify gaps that can be filled by developing new training and designing/developing new course materials.
• Participate in level 1-4 course evaluation methodologies.
• Instructors may be called upon to provide operational support.

Requirements:

• Experience in targeting or HUMINT (as an analyst or collector), with HUMINT operations and HUMINT interviewing experience (IC targeting and HUMINT Experience are acceptable).
• It is preferred candidates have experience in role-playing during practical exercises and teaching while in role.
• Data exploitation courses require advanced data exploitation experience as an intelligence analyst or equivalent. Examples of relevant training include intermediate data exploitation, Advanced Microsoft Excel training, or certifications in MS Excel or Power BI.
• Experience and ability in delivering adult education and participating in the instructional design process for training in one or more TDEX specialties.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in mentoring and coaching students as a group to meet proposed objectives relevant to one or more of TDEX specialties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
