We are seeking a Construction Superintendent QA/QC -  Electrical to play a critical role in delivering next-generation, liquid-cooled data center infrastructure. In this position, you will lead the quality program for complex, mission-critical electrical systems—ensuring every installation meets the highest standards for reliability, performance, and safety. You’ll work at the intersection of construction, engineering, and commissioning, driving quality from installation through system turnover. Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control Oversight
  • Lead implementation of the project-specific QA/QC program for electrical scopes
  • Develop, review, and enforce Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality procedures
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, and applicable codes (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IEC)
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment on quality expectations
Electrical Systems Supervison
  • Oversee installation and testing of critical electrical systems, including:
    • Medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems 
    • Switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, PDUs, and RPPs 
    • Grounding and bonding systems 
    • Cable tray, conduit, and cable installations 
    • SCADA/BMS interfaces 
  • Ensure proper integration of electrical systems with liquid cooling infrastructure (CDUs, pumps, controls, and power interfaces)
Inspection & Testing
  • Supervise and perform inspections of electrical installations across all phases of construction
  • Witness and document Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), and pre-functional/functional testing
  • Review and verify test results, including:
    • Insulation resistance (Megger testing) 
    • Continuity and grounding 
    • Relay protection and coordination 
    • Power quality and load testing 
  • Manage punch lists and ensure timely resolution and closeout of deficiencies
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test records, NCRs, and procedures
  • Ensure accurate as-built documentation and system turnover packages
  • Provide regular quality reports to project leadership and client stakeholders
Team Leadership
  • Supervise QA/QC inspectors and electrical quality personnel
  • Mentor junior staff and promote quality best practices
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to QA/QC standards
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure all work complies with project safety requirements and regulatory standards
  • Support audits and participate in internal and external quality reviews
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Communicate effectively with trades, subcontractors, and stakeholders regarding quality expectations and issues
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Zero major quality defects at system turnover
  • Timely closure of NCRs and punch list items
  • Full compliance with ITPs and inspection schedules
  • Successful completion of commissioning milestones
  • Positive client feedback and audit results

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrican License
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical QA/QC within mission-critical or data center construction
  • Strong experience with data center electrical systems and commissioning proce
