Senior Principal Research Officer (Built Environment Branch)

You will grow your career at NEA’s Environmental Health Institute (EHI), where you will design and conduct field and laboratory research to assess and mitigate bioaerosol exposure concerns in the built environment. Key areas of focus include bioaerosol science, indoor air quality, and environmental transmission of airborne diseases.

[What we are looking for]
Job Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of bioaerosol and indoor air quality management. BLS2 and BSL3 trained is preferred.
- Experience in designing and leading lab experiments on bioaerosols and study various airborne microbiome (including sampling, laboratory analysis, and data analysis)
- Experience in data analysis/statistical analysis
- Possessing a valid Class 3 driver’s licence and willingness to drive NEA’ car to field sites is preferred
- Capacity for systems thinking and inclination for trans-disciplinary science
- Strong interest in public health research, policy, and operations
- Excellent organisational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Open to developmental opportunities.
