Deadline: Positions open until filled.  Applications considered as needed, on a continuous basis throughout the academic year.  A new application must be submitted each year.

Undergraduate offerings include Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in Art & Art History, Communications, English, History, Modern Languages & Literatures, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Theatre. The BA in Music is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).

Department Information: California State University’s Department of Music and Theatre is housed in the College of Arts and Humanities on the campus of California State University, Bakersfield. The Music Program offers a BA in Music and a BM in Music in Music Education. The Theatre Program offers a BA in Theatre.
