Supply Chain & Retail
Supply Chain Services provides both pre-wholesale and wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical, healthcare and animal health products to pharmacies and hospital nationwide. The business supports a diverse customer base through the provision of strong service levels coupled with innovative commercial initiatives. In addition, the business provides services and supports that help independent community pharmacy to compete more effectively in an increasingly difficult environment and runs a network of Uniphar-owned pharmacies under the Life, Allcare, McCauleys and Hickeys symbol brands.

The Role
This is a 12-month Fixed Term contract role designed to offer bespoke HR support to Retail pharmacy network of over 138 stores nationwide.
You will be a dedicated HR business partner to the Retail leadership team, and you will work closely with our leaders to support the expanding business, including implementing a strategic people plan for the business, working with CoEs to create and roll out leadership and team development programmes, working on culture, integration, and inclusion initiatives, and providing coaching and support to leaders.
Key Outcomes and Responsibilities
- Partner with the leadership team to provide expert HR coaching, building a strong community of leaders and forging strong sustainable relationships that contributes a positive, measurable impact to the future success of SCR&OD.
- Advise and support the Leadership Team in all core HR activities including engagement, reward, learning & development, wellbeing, performance management.
- Lead your team to deliver the HR strategy, ensuring positive engagement with our employees and a strong culture awareness.
- Work to create a seamless employee experience, along with leaders, HR, and other support functions.
- Work closely with your HR peers to build alignment within HR cross-divisionally.
- Represent Retail Pharmacy in cross-divisional and cross-functional projects and work with the wider HR team to understand HR processes, policies and practices that could be leveraged at an enterprise level, seeking to pull best practices forward and implement more broadly.
- Partner with and help grow our CoEs (Centre of Excellence) to ensure robust service delivery at all stages of our employees' life cycle - Talent Attraction, Onboarding, Diversity and Inclusion, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Employee Wellbeing, Communication and Change Management.
- Provide coaching and expertise on a range of complex, sensitive people related issues.
- Provide accurate HR advice and support to management and employees in relation to all aspects of the employment relationship.
