Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring an Experienced Shipside Operations Specialist – Production Control to join the Delivery Center located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues.
• Use advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.
• Utilize tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
• May analyze and interpret data and provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues.
• Coordinate and facilitate multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues.
• Provides coaching and instruction to other teammates.
• Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment
• 1+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and managing projects
• Experience with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
• Experience with Boeing Problem Solving (BPS) and/or implementing LEAN methodologies for productivity improvement
• Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
• Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
• Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300 USD
