Inventory Team Leader
As an Inventory Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in transforming North American Supply Chain processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities encompass designing, developing, and leading the implementation of business process changes in Warehousing Management, Transportation Planning, and Logistics. You will focus on streamlining these processes, ensuring seamless Supply Chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and lead implementation of business process change and simplification initiatives related to the North American Supply Chain Processes in Warehousing Management, Transportation Planning and Logistics.
- Develop and maintain a seamless Supply Chain Business Process in Warehousing Management, Transportation Planning and Logistics.
- Increase APO and R/3 Transportation & Warehouse Management System Utilization supporting the North American Strategies.
- Support SAP / APO system upgrades (testing, validating and providing seamless transitions)
- Develop plans to identify train and retain Functional Power Users
- Support daily business needs in achieving best in class indicators, serving as interface between IT and end users on Key Initiatives.
- Ensure Business Processes are aligned with Global practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SAP/APO module interrelationships to work effectively with peers on integrated business processes.
- Identify SAP/APO system limitations and solutions to meet business needs.
- Seek and share global best practices from across Colgate, maintain training materials and Intranet reference content to reflect Best Practices.
- Lead IT initiatives for the Business via GSSO and/or Gridded Projects.
- Lead a team of material handlers in proper warehouse management (FIFO, inventory, cycle counts, etc.).
- Partner with 3PL providers in the execution of assigned projects.
- Responsible for the completion of rework projects as assigned.
- Responsible for the management and leases of all warehouse industrial equipment to include: scissor lifts, fork lifts, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field of study
- Minimum of 3 years in various supply chain / warehousing / operations roles.
- Minimum of 2 years of people management experience/exposure
- Strong computer skills with good understanding of system architectures (APO and R/3)
- Expert knowledge of SAP/APO systems ell-developed interpersonal skills and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Experience in Transportation & Warehousing Management or Supply Chain Integration
- Knowledge of Transportation Management systems
- BW/BI proficiency
- Experience in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in an autonomous work environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $70,400.00 - $116,550.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
