Job Overview
As the Lead Expert of Government Sales Development, you will mine business sales opportunities from 25+ employee prospect lists and marketing leads, establish relationships, and collaborate with our Field Sales teams across multiple verticals, including Public Safety, K-12, and City/Council.
As a key contributor to T-Mobile's revenue engine, you will be the first point of contact for all prospects. You will quickly respond to inquiries by email and phone, qualify potential customers, and connect them with T-Mobile for Business Account Executives. Additionally, you will conduct peer-to-peer call listening sessions, assist with training new hires, and cover for your leader when they are away from the office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospect: Conduct cold outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate new business leads.
  • Call Listening and Training: Conduct peer-to-peer call listening sessions, provide feedback and call scoring, assist with training new hires, and cover for the leader when they are away from the office.
  • Appointment Updates: Provide appointment status and updates to designated GOV field sales teams.
  • Lead Response: Respond in real time to leads from T-Mobile for Business portals and marketing campaigns.
  • Follow-Up Process: Follow the lead management process in Salesforce and the qualification process to qualify leads and prevent fraud.
  • Lead Research: Research leads, follow up with them, and assign them to the appropriate salesperson.


Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Less than 2 years Call center/sales experience (Preferred)

  • Communication Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and build relationships with clients and team members. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. (Required)
  • Organizational Skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. (Required)
  • Self-Motivation Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently. (Required)
  • Teamwork Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. (Required)
  • Technology Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $57,800 - $104,300, inclusive of target incentives

    Base Pay Range: $40,460 - $73,010

The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
