Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the MOS team as an Executive-Plant Lean Enterprise. This role would enable you to coordinate and implement Lean Manufacturing standards, practices and policies throughout the relevant business unit in order ascertain the alignment of the organization to achieve its business objectives through eliminating or minimizing non-value adding activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct in-house training programs on lean by analysing information provided by consultants and secondary data and materials to impart knowledge and skills to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement new lean practices and processes on the production and support floors and carry out special lean projects through continuous improvement to facilitate the smooth functioning of the processes.
- Prepare visual displays for factory information after agreeing on requirements with relevant management. Carry out data collection and analysis to help resolve problems systematically identified by management.
- Engage with Group Lean Enterprise and Divisional Lean Enterprise in knowledge-sharing sessions and ensure the knowledge is practiced through projects.
- Prepare and generate lean information regarding the implementation status through reports, graphs, and visual displays to deliver improvements on the production floor and facilitate management decisions.
Facilitate and capture learnings from consultant visits and internal resource personnel and ensure they are retained for continuous business improvement.
Qualifications:
- Degree in lean manufacturing, textile technology, physical science, applied mathematics, textile/mechanical/electronics/chemical/production/industrial engineering, business administrations, statistics, fashion design and product development Engineering or other relevant field/equivalent professional qualification.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
