Position Summary

Arrow International, Inc. is seeking to add a Cutter Trainee to our manufacturing team based in Cleveland, OH.  The candidate will receive extensive training on our state-of-the-art equipment and will be promoted Cutter Operator.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Work from written and verbal instructions.
• Fully capable of maintaining production rates for 8 hours of 200 Cuts Per Hour (CPH) on Capital and 290 CPH on Unimax for first cutting. Maintains production rates for 8 hours of 140 CPH on Capital when second cutting.
• Program the cutter.
• Operate the cutter to make precise cuts as needed.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on cutter.
• Exercise proper care of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

Requirements

Experience and Education

• High school diploma / GED equivalent
• Must have good mechanical skills.
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Must be open to working overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work in a highly physical job and consistently lift 30 pounds.
• Must have an eye for detail/quality.
• Must be willing to work different jobs as required.
• Must have good math skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Previous experience operating machinery preferred.
