Sr. Analyst, Order to Cash

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Analyst, Order to Cash (OTC) is responsible for supporting Vertiv’s global OTC operations through accurate execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of processes including billing, collections, dispute management, and cash application. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams including shared service centers, commercial operations, credit, and IT to drive process efficiency, improve working capital, and enhance the customer experience. The analyst plays a key role in monitoring and reporting performance metrics, resolving issues, and helping maintain standardization across regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute daily OTC activities including invoicing, cash application, and collections in accordance with global standards and deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to customer disputes, unapplied cash, and overdue balances.
• Partner with regional teams to improve collection effectiveness and support DSO reduction initiatives.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators such as DSO, aged AR, and dispute resolution timelines.
• Contribute to the documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of global OTC processes.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and following established controls.
• Collaborate with IT and service delivery teams on system enhancements and automation opportunities.
• Create and maintain regular reporting and dashboards that support business visibility and performance monitoring.
• Assist in onboarding and training regional team members or new hires as needed.
• Act as a liaison between the business, shared services, and customers to ensure alignment on priorities and resolutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
• 4–6 years of experience in Order to Cash or related finance functions, preferably in a global or shared services environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and reporting tools such as Excel or Power BI.
• Familiarity with OTC technology platforms such as HighRadius or GetPaid is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and across time zones with strong attention to detail and accountability.
