The Internal Collections Representative is responsible for contacting and managing the accounts of past residents who owe AH4R a balance by negotiating repayment terms, setting up payment arrangements, disputing charges, ensuring payments are made in accordance with the signed agreement, and ensuring those signed agreements reach completion.
Responsibilities:
- Performs activities relating to outbound and inbound calls and/or emails from previous tenants. Provides accurate and timely assistance to the caller and documents activity in CRM database, ensuring proper call handling and follow up as needed. Places outbound calls to follow up with customers & property management regarding actionable items and/or provide additional information.
- Supports department by performing administrative duties such as noting accounts, managing profiles, and updating records.
- Supports team by attending meetings. Participates in growth and development opportunities including coaching and attending training.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years Collections experience preferably in a call center
- Experienced with customer service software applications
- Knowledge of Real Estate or Property Management industry preferred
- Understanding of VOIP phone systems
- Intermediate PC skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, time management and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong relationship management, organizing and customer service skills.
- Must be able to meet multiple deadlines.
