Your Impact

As a member of the IT Go-to-Market Tools and Systems team, you’ll work directly with key decision-makers and company owners to gain a better understanding of the challenges they face. This experience also allows you to see firsthand the positive impact your efforts can have on the client's success.

The CPQ Solution Architect serves as a subject-matter expert on Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote projects, responsible for client delivery, proposals, new business opportunities, and knowledge management. The Solution Architect works to understand requirements and enable the authoring/development of quality solutions that meet the requirements.

Your Qualifications

  • 8+ years of functional, hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience; 3+ years in leading Salesforce CPQ project implementations as a Solution Architect.
  • Able to translate business requirements into functional user stories and design scalable best practice solutions using Salesforce CPQ, along with the suite of Salesforce products and 3rd party applications.
  • Excellent track record of delivering successful systems implementations with high stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Ability to accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate recommendations for solutions or improvements and reviewing solutions that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the end-to-end lifecycle of developing integration solutions, from conception to launch and post-launch support.
  • Experience in back-end development of Salesforce including but not limited to design of data models, a strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL, and usage of web technologies.
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development team

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Advanced Approvals, Salesforce Communities, Salesforce Billing, and recommending CPQ solutions.
  • Experience working on projects that included an integration to Workday.
  • Functional knowledge of 3rd Party Applications: Document generation, such as Conga ; Contract Lifecycle Management; Electronic signature, such as DocuSign
  • Proficiency in Agile or Agile-hybrid methodologies.
  • Administering comprehensive training and documentation to both end-users and CPQ admin users.
  • Preferred Salesforce Certifications: Community Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I, Data Architecture and Management Designer, Sharing and Visibility Designer, Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer.
