Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our SMB-FS Engineering Excellence & Enablement (E3) team. As a member of the team, you will work closely with individual product engineering teams within segments of PayPal engineering. You will focus on identifying and solving problems in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows that take into account local bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities. This pattern drives the adoption of improvements in the SDLC across all SMB-FS engineering teams.Job Description:

Your way to impact:
Optimize the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) from code repository pull requests to production rollout and monitoring. This includes but is not limited to building, testing, continuous releases, deployment, and observability. Drive the overall productivity and processes of engineering teams, ensuring they can deliver their work efficiently and effectively. Tight collaboration with relevant PayPal teams outside of our organization. Partner with platform engineering teams and the developer productivity engineering organization to align on strategy, share improvements, and enhance the impact on SMB-FS teams and beyond. Explore predictive and generative AI solutions to accomplish these outcomes in a more effective and sustainable manner.
Your day-to-day:
Work closely with platform engineering teams within other segments of PayPal engineering such as the mobile platform and the developer productivity engineering groups.
Collaborate with product engineering teams to gather requirements, provide best practice solutions, streamline development and operational workflows, and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain monitoring systems and drive observability best practices to ensure the availability, performance, and security of infrastructure and applications.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processe
