About the role

ICF is seeking an Data Analyst-Early Childhood Technical Project Specialist provides ongoing, prompt and accurate programmatic assistance. The Technical Project Specialist will contribute to the development of innovative, high-quality products and services in support of multiple projects within the Early Education Services Line of Business.

The ideal candidate will have a background in and experience early childhood education.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have had some experience working with federal clients and project teams on data collection, analysis, quality assurance, and reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in development of databases and takes the lead in maintaining and archiving all final documents.
  • Participates in the clarification and refinement of data as needed.
  • Prepares reports from databases to assist the project leadership and the client in their work.
  • Participates in research tasks in the preparation of resources.
  • Contribute to the development of resources by suggesting new and creative approaches for sharing information.
  • Leads the development of contract reports, including monthly, biweekly, and annual reports.
  • Supports data collection, analysis, reporting, and quality assurance tasks for technical assistance needs assessment and project evaluation.
  • Assists in the development of accurate, easily understood resources.
  • Organizes the review, approval, production, and dissemination of resources.

  • Oversees the organization and management of resources.

  • Assists in the migration of files and resources as needed.

  • Assists in the delivery of training for ICF staff, technical assistance partners, and client staff.

  • Participate in and/or lead various workgroups as requested by the client or the Project Director, and as relevant to the project’s work.

Qualifications:

  • Degree is required, public health OR public policy or relevant
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, Smartsheet, Power BI and needs assessment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with data collection, quality assurance, and reporting tasks.
  • 1 year of experience in early childhood
