Your Role

 

People are the key to our success, which is why we are consistently looking for strong additions to our team. During your internship, you would be part of our flagship Infrastructure team and be working on exciting new investment opportunities as well as our portfolio companies across a wide array of sectors such as Telecom, Energy, Transportation & Logistics, Environmental and Social.

 

The EQT Infrastructure Private Equity Advisory team consists of 130+ investment professionals located across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific with focus on large-cap and mid-cap investments with a growth mindset. The team is currently investing out of Infra Fund VI, an EUR 21bn (~24bn USD) vehicle and Active Core Infra, an EUR 2.9bn (3.7bn USD)  vehicle. 

Responsibilities will include:

 

• Evaluating early-stage investment opportunities and their attractiveness for EQT
• Developing an investment thesis and investment case for prioritized opportunities 
• Conducting due diligence to generate an in-depth understanding of the market and company
• Working with our existing portfolio companies to drive value creation
• Completing financial analyses (incl. models) and market research for business development projects

 

You can expect to work in an international team with an informal atmosphere and culture, gain experience through a broad range of transaction types, companies, and industries, and develop a unique skill set to pursue a career in an investment role.

Your Profile

 

Relevant candidates will combine exceptional analytical and technical abilities, drive, and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a well-rounded individual with an investor mindset, whose values complement those of EQT. While previous experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or asset management is a plus it is not mandatory - we look forward to receiving applications with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Fluency in English is mandatory.
