Subject Description:
The aims of this subject are to consolidate students' knowledge and skills in object-oriented programming and to develop their understanding and practice of Java programming. To achieve these aims, the subject will provide students with opportunities to develop their Java programming skills using concepts such as class encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, interface, exception handling, files, input/output streams, JavaFX GUI, and Lambdas and streams.
Job Requirement:
1. A PhD or Master’s degree in Psychology from a reputable university
2. At least 2 years of teaching experience at tertiary level
3. 5 years of relevant working experience would be an advantage
4. Some track records of Research is preferred
5. Must be available to teach during day time
6. Establish good working relationship with UOW subject coordinator/lecturer
7. Willing to teach year 1 & 2 subjects and tutor year 3 subjects
