Key Responsibilities: 

  • Clean, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and equipment following established protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform sterilization quality control, documentation, and logging accurately. 
  • Prioritize instrument processing to meet procedural schedules, dispatching cleaned sets efficiently. 
  • Collaborate with OR staff, nursing, and other departments to ensure readiness for each procedure.
  • Maintain a clean, organized sterile processing environment in compliance with safety and infection-control standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management  

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or sterile processing environment is preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates welcome.  
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping. 
  • Ability to wear PPE and comply with health and safety practices. 
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good communication skills.
