Position Details

The Department of Mathematics in The University of Tampa’s College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education invites applications for a full time, non-renewable one year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Lecturer for the academic year 2025-2026.


The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially-based private institution of more than 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students.  The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa's dynamic central business district, which is a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area. The successful candidate will teach four 4-credit courses of lower-division level Mathematics (Finite Math, College Algebra, Precalculus, Business Calculus) in the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. Review of applications will commence immediately and continue until the position is filled.
 

Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
