Construction Skilled Laborer

Description

As a construction skilled laborer, you will complete commercial tenant improvements within the role of demolition, wood carpentry, drywall, painting, and finish carpentry.

Work Responsibilities

• Demo walls, cabinets, counter tops, masonry and interior doors
• Install wood carpentry, framing, and cabinetry
• Install flooring as needed
• Cut, install or repair drywall includes taping and mudding
• Hang interior doors and install casing or trim
• Prepare and clean-up job sites for painting
• Paint repairs and properly dispose of painting materials
• Provide updates to foreman and supervisors regarding estimated time of completion on repairs or upgrades
• Report inventory on materials and supplies to supervisors
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

• Two or more years of recent skilled construction experience
• Possess trade and hand tools to perform the work
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient English communication skills to write reports and emails
• A valid and insurable driving recording
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
