Infra Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Director of Program Management to lead and oversee program delivery in a SAFe Agile environment. This role involves managing a team of Scrum Masters, Project Managers, and Product Owners, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and driving successful execution of large-scale initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (especially SAFe), and proven experience in managing complex programs across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Provide strategic direction and leadership to Scrum Masters, PMs, and POs across multiple programs.
- Program Execution: Ensure successful delivery of programs within scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining quality standards.
- SAFe Implementation: Champion SAFe principles and practices, facilitating PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and other SAFe ceremonies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish program governance, track progress, manage risks, and provide transparent reporting to senior leadership.
- Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation across programs and ensure team capacity aligns with business priorities.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements, foster a culture of collaboration, and promote Agile maturity across the organization.
- Mentorship: Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, PMs, and POs to enhance their effectiveness and career growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Program Director or similar leadership role in Agile environments.
- Strong expertise in SAFe Agile framework and large-scale Agile transformations.
- Experience managing Scrum Masters, Project Managers, and Product Owners.
- Excellent understanding of Agile delivery metrics, program governance, and portfolio management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar for program tracking and requirement management.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager certification.
- Experience in insurance or financial services domain.
- Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and budgeting practices.
