Description

Everi is looking for a multi faceted leader with experience in software development and lyfe cycle management who will help to facilitate excellent communication through the development lifecycle.  As the Director of Software Development you will be supporting our software development teams and eventually QA team through the product lifecycle to ensure successful deployment of our products. You will need to interface with Product Management, Development,  IT,  DevOPs, and Leadership teams. 
This position is an onsite position in our Las Vegas office. It also entails some flexible working hours, as the majority of our team is based in India. Willingness to travel to India occasionally.

What Will You Be Doing?

• End to end Product & feature development including design, coding, testing and automation of Transaction Manager product
• Understand customer’s business need and actively participate in designing products and value added services
• Ensures timely delivery and excellent quality of the deliverables for the product
• Able to represent the product team externally and /or other external technology body with confidence.
• Working with very high volume of transaction based systems
• Acts as subject matter expert for the domain, processes, methodology and able to adapt latest technologies, frameworks and tools quickly
• Reviewing requirements and design within team
• Team-up, mentor and motivate team members for technical excellence

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:

• 12+ years of hands on experience and advanced knowledge of software development practices, including the software development life cycle (SDLC), agile software development, feature driven development, or other similar processes.
• Bachelor and/or Master degree in Engineering 
• Highly skilled on building payment applications, online transaction processing and transaction switching
• Good understanding of integrations with external third party systems 
• Payment experience preffered 
• The ability to work in teams, global environment, partner effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently
• Advanced coding ability.
• Advanced knowledge of data structures, logic, algorithms, and optimization skills.
• Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire product development cycle: from design, implementation, test and debugging, to deployment and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
• Solid interpersonal and leadership skills

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,200 - $ 163,500 annually.
