As International Portfolio & Innovation Manager Look-O-Look, you will be part of the Marketing department, part of our commercial organization in the Benelux. Want to get insight into our company immediately? Click here and here. The Marketing department is always evolving and continuously responds to the latest developments within FMCG. The department counts six brand teams and a Media & Insights team. As International Portfolio & Innovation Manager Look-O-Look, you will be part of the brand team Candy, and reports to the Brand Group Manager Candy.

 

We are looking for an experienced International Portfolio & Innovation Manager Look-O-Look to drive brand growth in Europe. Together with your direct report, the international Product Manager Look-O-Look, you will own the innovation agenda for the Candy Brand Look-O-Look in Europe. Therefore, you will work closely with the two local Marketing Look-O-Look teams. Furthermore, this role interfaces extensively with Marketing, Finance, R&D, P&T, Quality, Legal, Consumer Insights and all functions within Global Supply Chain (Procurement, Artwork, Manufacturing and Customer Service and Logistics), to deliver projects within the specified time, cost and quality parameters. Finally, the leading markets are Benelux and the Export markets within Europe.

Your core tasks in a nutshell:

• Own and manage the end-to-end process of new product development (NPD) from concept ideation to commercialization, and ensuring timely and successful launches;
• Lead project teams, including working closely with R&D, CMI, P&T, Finance and Operational teams to drive consumer-centric product innovation while considering feasibility and costs;
• Work closely with the Marketing teams and Category Management to develop winning NPD propositions, which contribute to building strong annual marketing plans;
• Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the organization whilst ensuring alignment of innovation and portfolio strategies with
  overall business objectives;
• Assess the existing product portfolio, identify areas for improvement to optimize, grow the portfolio and maximize profitability;
• Monitor product performance, analyse sales data, and understand competitor and market best practices to make data-driven decisions for portfolio enhancements or discontinuations;
• Own and manage the Innovation marketing budget.

The ideal recipe for our International Portfolio & Innovation Manager Look-O-Look:

• A Bachelor or Master Degree;
• A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in FMCG marketing, with a focus on NPD and Portfolio management;
• Proven track record in launching NPD from ideation to execution in market, delivering sales growth through retail channels;
• Experience with project management and cross functional team working;
• Knowledge of the FMCG market.
