Sentara Medical Group has an opening for an APP (NP or PA) to join Sentara Family Medicine Physicians located in Wakefield, VA. This position has flexibility to be a full-time or part-time position.

Position Highlights:

• Monday – Friday with 4 hours of dedicated admin time a week
• 8:00 – 5:00p
• Average number of patients a day is 16-18 with a majority of geriatric patients
• Recently renovated facilities
• Call schedule: Every 9-10 weeks/1 full week of call

Job Summary

Qualifications:

MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Other/National, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Registered Nurse (RN) Multi State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
