Warehouse/Forklift Inventory Coordinator
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Warehouse/ forklift Inventory Coordinator is responsible for effectively managing the warehouse for inventory control and accuracy. Drives electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Minimize inventory while ensuring plant overall inventory effectiveness (OEE).
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for activities pertaining to stocking, inventorying, scanning, and transferring of product.
- Work closely with warehouse/driver and MH to understand the requirements. of
- Incorporating visual management and 5S methodology and principles into organizing the warehouse.
- Ensures that all paperwork is accurate and properly submitted in a timely manner
- Works directly with Supply Chain and Warehouse leadership to ensure all emergency materials are ordered and expedited if required to minimize the impact on operations
- Additional duties as priorities change.
YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Forklift Driver Certfification is required.
- Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime
- Future training and/or education may be necessary to further job skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and Power Point presentations.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units or measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to calculate mean, median and mode.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic skill knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Virtual Client to perform effectively in daily activities
- Ability to perform visual inspection process and successfully read and apply technical material including print specifications
