Job Description

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.  Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Provide quality control final inspection support, and shipping / receiving   inspection support.
• Accurately interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, company specifications, sampling procedures, designs, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Utilize precision tools and equipment with accuracy for testing and measurement of product.
• Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
• Other duties as assigned.

To qualify for the position, the following requirements must be met:

·         Knowledge of quality system requirements preferred.

·         Experience in an AS9120 or ASA-100 management system preferred.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills.

·         Strong verbal, written and communication skills.

·         Exceptional computer skills.

·         Safety conscious

·         High School Diploma/GED required, a minimum of 3 years of quality and/or administrative aircraft related experience preferred.

·         Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision and the ability to follow instructions at all times
