**The Role

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented and dynamic individual to join our legal team to advise on procurement and construction law matters.  This is a new role within the Company which requires the individual to utilise their construction experience to efficiently advise on EET Fuels interests.

You will be involved in the construction aspects of a number of interesting projects as the Stanlow Estate transforms into a hub for low-carbon, sustainable fuels for the future.  This is a unique and interesting opportunity that will provide the successful candidate with scope for development and growth within a complex and dynamic business.

 

Primary Accountabilities

 

• Drafting, reviewing and leading negotiations on EPC, EPCM and other construction contracts.
• Experience of negotiating commonly used contract forms is essential, including JCT and NEC, iChemE, FIDIC etc. 
• Reviewing and negotiating a wide range of other related construction related contractual documentation including collateral warranties, guarantees, novation agreements, letters of reliance, framework agreements, letters of intent, technology licence agreements, non-disclosure agreements, joint venture agreements and teaming agreements.
• Creating standard form procurement agreements and the related forms, processes and schedules to support construction works.
• Advising Essar on risk management and regulatory compliance.
