We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our team focused on delivering reliability, quality, and performance for cutting-edge engine control systems. In this critical role, you’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead technical investigations, and collaborate across disciplines to elevate product performance in the field.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and maintain project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met

  • Champion field reliability by identifying and implementing corrective actions based on field return insights.

  • Motivate cross-functional teams to create and execute robust investigation plans.

  • Facilitate technical meetings and ensure action plans are clearly defined and executed.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to provide timely updates and detailed reports on investigation status.

  • Submit technical documentation to support or dispute product removals as appropriate.

  • Work as the leader of a cross-functional engineering team with support from program management and operations.

  • Lead communications to internal and external stakeholders on project development plans, status, and risks.

  • Support implementation of digital controls product line strategic and technology initiatives.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety.

What You Will Learn

  • Advanced Engineering Techniques: Gain deeper insights into the latest engineering practices and technologies in the aerospace industry, enhancing your technical skillset.

  • Problem Solving: Contribute to thorough root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve field issues and improve product reliability.

  • Project Lifecycle: Learn the intricacies of supporting complex projects from conception through production, including risk management, resource allocation, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Project management experience within the aerospace industry is preferred

  • Background or experience in electronics and/or digital controls

  • Working experience navigating competing priorities and working multiple schedules in parallel

  • Life Cycle Management and/or Agile methodologies experience

  • Experience generating proposals and new product introduction.
