Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the development activities related to two or more business applications including governance, requirements gathering, issue tracking, user support, release plans, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein.  Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

• Serve as the Product Manager and Product Owner for two or more applications

• Develop pilot plans and full launch schedules including communication plans, training, and support models

• Create and maintain budgets for software and resource expenditures; propose roadmaps for budget cycle planning

• Manage a team of developers, QA associates, and external vendors

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from business users, including the creation of flowcharts and other diagrams as required by development

• Act as an interface / liaison among stakeholders to validate requirements and resolve business needs

• Evaluate current processes and document suggested enhancements for approval

• Compile and prioritize tasks and estimates and provide reporting of project to stakeholders

• Manage UAT and other validation tasks for systems used at the company

• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

• Create training documentation and facilitate instructor-led training sessions for internal and external users

• Maintain SOP and FAQ documentation for major systems

• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions using a help desk system to receive and track tickets

• Complete sprint planning and task prioritization for developers; execute test cases post-development and approve releases

• Author and distribute release notes post-release

• Serve as the primary contact for third party development firm to manage timelines and respond to questions

• Create basic to intermediate SQL statements for data validation, troubleshooting, and testing

• Follow proper audit protocols for SDLC, manage auditor sample requests and properly document review procedures

• Perform SOX ITGC functions including user access audits, change management detective controls, and SOC report reviews

• Deploy Design Thinking methodologies to uncover pain points and develop solutions

Qualifications:

• 4+ years serving in a Product Management capacity for critical applications

• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices

• Proven experience launching programs and pilots

• Exposure to custom systems and agile development methodology

• Highly organized with a great attention to detail

• Proven experience in gathering requirements and testing

• Intermediate experience writing and reading SQL database queries

• Experienced and knowledgeable with relational database design and navigation

• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS or combination of industry certifications and equivalent related work experience of 5 years or more

• Real estate or property management experience desired

• Strong technical knowledge of cloud applications, SaaS, and PaaS offerings

• Good understanding of project and time management principles
