We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Security Supervisor to oversee our on-site physical security operations center. This role demands a proactive leader capable of maintaining high standards of security and managing a team of skilled security analysts. Dominion Energy focuses on its mission, workforce and future.

 

• Supervise a 24/7 on-site physical security operations center, ensuring seamless operations and rapid response to security incidents.
• Manage and support a team of security analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the operations and coordinate through technical security operations maintenance of physical security technologies, ensuring they are fully operational and effective.
• Proven experience leveraging physical security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, and alarm systems, to maintain situational awareness of security across large numbers of assets.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, midnights, and weekends.
• Successful candidate will be expected to work a rotating schedule.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum of ten years of progressive work experience in roles such as sworn law enforcement, 911 Center Operations, Physical Security Operations Centers, Global Security Operations Centers, corporate or physical security, related military service, or similar security-related positions.  Note: A Master's degree will count as one year or experience.  A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year.

• Proven leadership experience in any of the aforementioned positions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively
• Must be available to provide rapid response and oversight to security incidents

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:  Bachelor
